Col. Dean Brown (left) presents a plaque to Mrs. Margaruite Alves (middle) and Ethel Ann Alves (right) to commemorate the induction of the Alves Trophy. The trophy is in recognition of George Alves and his lifetime dedication to shooting sports as a coach and mentor to junior shooters. George was also a volunteer at Camp Perry.
Justin Pentz receives the Alves Trophy which is a new trophy to the NRA National 3-Position Championship. Pentz is the High Junior Champion with a score of 1189-66X.
Bill Krilling was an honorary guest at the awards ceremony. Krilling coached some of the most elite international rifle teams in the history of shooting.
Pentz receives the Krilling Trophy Plaque for winning the Metallic Sight Championship with a score of 1189-66X.
