Drew Cup coaching

Having a competitive shooting coach is nothing like anything else in sports. For me, growing up in the Pittsburgh area, I was taught that coaching has to be like Pittsburgh Steelers former head coach Bill Cowher jawing at his players when they do something wrong.

With competitive shooting, though, especially with NRA Certified Coaches, positive reinforcement is part of the process. They are quiet; right beside the athlete, helping them hit that X mark. It’s a fascinating process to watch unfold.
