Results from the 2008 International Youth Hunter Education Challenge

[The] Oregon Senior Team claimed its second consecutive overall title at this year's YHEC, recording a score of 8,317 out of a possible 12,000 points to best the Pennsylvania Senior Blue Team. And for the fourth year in a row, the North Carolina Forbush Elementary Claybusters won top honors in the junior team category with a score of 7,193.

On the individual side, Hunter Fulton, 17, of Grand Cane, La., won his first senior individual title, racking up 1,795 points out of a possible 2,400. With yet another repeat, Nick Kiter, 14, of Yadkinville, N.C., won first place in the junior individual category with a score of 1,688. Kiter also was a member of the junior team champion North Carolina Forbush Elementary Claybusters.

Hey guys my names Kassidee I'm 15 and I competed in the 2008 Yhec competition in PA.
I am from UT. I'm friends with Garrett Cranney who won nationals last year.
Yhec is an amazing program that helps me in all aspects of life. Especially goal setting. I took 5th place over all in rifle event and next year im shooting for first. YHEC is a great way to learn how to set goals and make AMAZING friends.
haha and girls its a great way to meet the guys :)

I would highly recomend getting into YHEC if you ever get that oportunity

Hey my names Breanne and i shoot with kassidee and i agree with her it helps with so many things you meet so many great people and yes it is a great way to meet guys!! Go utah!And i would also recomend to get in yhec or any shooting program it's so fun!!!

Hey I am Heidi I also friends with Kassidee and Breanne. I also live in UT.
I was with Kassidee at the Yhec competition in PA and with Breanne down in NM for Yhec last year.
Yhec has helped me alot in all aspects of my life with making new friends and set lots and lots of goals in life. All the kids in Yhec are all awesome.
Shooting and hunting are now part of my life and I am really glad it is.
