The Woman Champion is PFC Sherri J. Hurd of Fort Benning, Georgia. She posted a score of 2375-94X. She receives a medallion and a $100 VISA gift card.

The Police Champion is Kenneth E. Potter of Toledo, Ohio. He posted a score of 2319-79X. He gets a medallion and a $100 VISA gift card.

The Senior Champion is Jack G. Jones of Akron, Ohio. Jones posted a score of 2352-67X. The Senior Champion receives a medallion and a $100 VISA gift card.

The Collegiate Champion is SPC CJ Atkins of Brunswick, Georgia. CJ posted a score of 2341-92X. (As I read the rest of the awards, I realized that every special category winner will get a medallion and a $100 VISA gift card, so I won’t keep repeating myself.)

Here’s something interesting: the Overall Junior Champion, which is for competitors under the age of 21, was also the Sub-Junior Champion. I’m talking about Tyler C. Rico of Tucson, Arizona, who recorded a score of 2337-65X. What makes this interesting, in my little mind, is that there are three categories for juniors: Junior (18-20), Intermediate Junior (15-17), and Sub-Junior (14 and under). That means a young lad beat out a lot of other juniors who are stronger and older. But this is no disrespect to the Junior and Intermediate Junior Champion, because what they accomplished deserves all of the praise in the world.

The Junior Champion (18-20) was Nick Mowrer of Ramsay, Montana, who finished with a score of 2334-81X.

The Intermediate Junior Champion was Jennifer A. Nyberg of Renton, Washington. Jennifer posted a score of 2315-52X.

The Service Champion was PFC Sherri Hurd of Fort Benning, Georgia.

The Grand Senior Champion was Robert Del Cotto of Maricopa, Arizona. Robert finished with a score of 2325-62X.
