It's a beautiful morning on the range. Today, the second day of high power rifle long range competition, is important because of its three trophied matches: Leech, Porter, and Andrus. Depending on a competitor's firearm (iron sight, service rifle, or Palma rifle, respectively) he or she competes against fellow shooters also using that model.
According to NRA High Power Rifle manager Janet Raab, the separate categories give everyone a more equal chance.
Enjoy the slideshow while I find H.Q. Moody. He's supposed to give me some history on the Leech Cup. That is, unless Dan's previous post of his photo has him perturbed.
