First day of competition gets rained out

Earlier this morning, the weather started out yet another beautiful day here at Perry. However, at about 2:00 p.m. the storms started rolling in. After a tornado warning siren sounded off in Ottawa County, the range decided to stop all competitions for the day. Before the rain started I was able to witness the eagerness of the competitors as the Harry Reeves Memorial Revolver Match and the NRA/USA National Civilian Pistol Team Postal Match began today. Due to the rain delay, the competitions will resume early tomorrow morning. Hopefully Camp Perry will be a little less flooded by then.
