The future of our sport

The rain is starting to dissipate, and the first thing that I see after leaving the press office is this little kid competing. It’s 7-year-old Justin Harvey, competing in the new sub junior category. “I’ve been shooting since I’ve was born,” a somewhat shy Justin said. His father had to correct him. “I mean, since I was three.” Justin is shooting a .32 Traditions Deer Hunter. Justin and his mom and dad have been traveling down from their home in Fishers, Indiana, a lot recently to shoot muzzle loading. They said it’s an activity that’s enjoyed by the whole family.
