With the scores not finalized, it looks like DuBois, Pennsylvania native Kyle Smith won the Smallbore 3-Position National Championships. His score of 2375-122X beat out SPC George K. Norton of the USAMU by one point. SPC Norton shot a 2374-151X. Woman Champion Michelle Bohren of Taylor, Michigan placed third with 2373-140X.
The Senior Champion is Ronald Durcholz of Orchard Park, New York. Ronald shot a 2309-114X.
The Collegiate Champion is Erin Lorenzen, who shoots on the TCU Rifle Team. Ms. Lorenzen shot a 2375-109X.
A quick little note on Smith -- it’s pretty cool to see Smith win this. He’s a junior and classified as an expert. Good for him!
