A look at the rain at Camp Perry

The competitions began today with the some of relays that have been rescheduled in the Harry Reeves Revolver Match. Camp Perry is covered with large rain puddles, but that hasn’t stopped the volunteers, range directors or competitors from taking part in today’s matches. The Distinguished Revolver Match also began today. Standing in ankle-deep water doesn’t seem to bother the shooters’ aim so far. Later on today we will post a few updates, results and photos of the Harry Reeves Revolver Match and the Distinguished Revolver Match.

Puddles of water cover a large area of the range.

Bullets skip across the water on the range after hitting their targets.

A competitor trudges his way through the water after leaving the shooting line.

More water at Camp Perry.
