The wait begins

One thing that always interests me about the muzzle loading championships is the time between when people set up their shot to when they pull the trigger. In the video below, Mark Donaldson from Columbia, Ohio, is shooting Bench Unlimited. It’s a huge rifle, and personally, I’m not sure how he can stay focused. I started recording this once he got in position. This is common with a lot of the muzzle loading shooters. When asked why he takes so long, Marks said it’s because of the ever-changing wind and light with the metallic sight. It just takes a little longer.
