I read the update this morning on the Women’s 25m Pistol and that reminded me of a story that I saw last night on ABC news. They did a profile on the oldest American Olympic athlete, 56-year-old Libby Callahan. Libby shoots pistol.
The story showed a photo of Libby in the 1970s holding up the first award that she ever won in competitive shooting. From what I saw, it looked like an award that was given by the NRA. She was a cop on the Washington, D.C., police force.
Now here’s my sales pitch to get all of the law enforement officials who are reading this to participate in an NRA sanctioned Law Enforcement Shooting Competition Program ... please participate in an NRA sanctioned Law Enforcement Shooting Competition Program! NOW!
Thank you.
