Wonderful media turnout

We had a couple of outdoor writers turn out for the M1A Match yesterday. D'Arcy Egan from Outdoors Ohio and The Cleveland Plain Dealer showed up to try out the M1A.

Steve Pollick from The Toledo Blade brought his son and another person. (I think it was his brother or brother in law. I’m not really sure, now that I think about it.) Steve shot in the M1A match last year and enjoyed it thoroughly.

We also had Jim Abrams from The Courier come out to shoot. This was my first experience with Jim and he’s a very nice man.

If you live in their circulation, I recommend that you check out their outdoor columns. All three are excellent journalists.

UPDATE: There was also a German film crew here yesterday. I don’t have what agency they represented but they were very nice. There were bologna sandwiches available for them at lunch. They said bologna is not available in Germany and asked if that meat was a delicacy here in the states. Of course I said no.

There was a german film crew during the M1A match on Sunday. They interviewed a number of people including my son. Do you know who they represented and what and where their interviews will air?

You're right, Dan. I forgot about them. I'll look into that. They gave us their business card so I will call them and see if I can get a copy of their report. I will make the changes to that post.
In the meantime, can you e-mail me your contact information and I'll try to get back to you with an answer to your question.
