McPherson, of the New Mexico State Police, won the New Mexico Challenge Match with a score of 470-29x. He is pictured above with NRA President and former Delaware police captain John Sigler, who was on hand to present each winner with his or her award. McPherson takes home both a trophy and a firearm.
Second place goes to Tim Harvey of the New Mexico State Police with a score of 470-23x.
Third place goes to Tim Gonterman of the Albuquerque Police Department with a score of 465-24x.
