New Discussion Forum Launched on NRA Hunters Rights

Hunters who feel like their opinions on important issues are being ignored now have a place to make their voices heard. NRA's all-hunting website, www.nrahuntersrights.org, has unveiled a new interactive section that will allow hunters to share their opinions on hot-button hunting issues.

This new section, "Open Season — A Forum for All Hunters," offers a place for hunters to weigh in on some of the most serious issues that threaten our hunting rights. NRA will introduce the topics, stand back, and allow hunters to post their comments and debate amongst themselves.

Of course, you are welcome to submit topics for discussion, too. If your state is thinking about implementing a new hunting law that restricts your freedom, or if you feel that your hunting rights are being trampled by animal rights’ groups, just submit your topic via our online forum, and it could be the next one up for discussion. Hunters are invited to visit the forum often and are encouraged to leave as many posts as they’d like.

While you’re visiting the new discussion forum, don’t forget to send photos of game you take this season for our “Trophy Gallery” section, and until September 30th, you can still enter this month’s Gift Giveaway. You don’t want to miss out on the chance to win a free pair of binoculars from Alpen Optics, valued at more than $800. Instructions on how to do both are posted on the front page of the site, or you can send an email to huntersrights@nrahq.org with any questions.

Stay tuned for more changes to www.nrahuntersrights.org in the weeks ahead, including an updated blog section, which will also offer a post-a-comment feature.
