Mayleigh Cup Match completed

The United States fired its portion of the 2008 Mayleigh Cup International Postal Team Match this morning on the Petrarca Range. Teams from each country invited by the U.S. to compete are comprised of a team captain, adjutant, ten competitors, and two alternates. The U.S. team is chosen from the scores fired in the .22-Caliber Slow Fire Match and the .22-Caliber National Match Course, and is the only team to fire at Camp Perry. Competitors fire 30 shots in slow fire from 50 meters at B-17 targets. This year, the U.S. team scored a 2661.
