One more relay to go before the first day is completed. I won’t be able to post the first day results until I get back to the hotel tomorrow evening. Tomorrow at 8 AM the first day results will be posted and then we go into a one hour challenge time where competitors can challenge a target or a score.
But I don’t want to focus this post on the challenging period. The NMLRA is auctioning off a specially-commissioned Brooks-Hamel Rifle for their 75th Anniversary. It’s a beauty. If you’re unaware with Brooks-Hamel rifles then you need to come to an NRA Annual Meeting. Brooks-Hamel rifles have been presented to keynote speakers of the NRA Annual Meetings, as well as heads of state and other dignitaries. The photos that I took do not do it justice. This is a rifle that if I won, I would build a fireplace in my home because rifles like this deserve to be put on display.
