The Open Class Revolver 1500 Match is underway. I photographed a few shooters from the seven-yard line (above). The wind will be a factor but it is much more pleasant than yesterday's dust-turning winds.
"Some people call the guns used in this match 'funny guns' because the firearms used in this match are not firearms yo you might normally use," LEAD Director Hoyer said. "Accuracy is everything because this match is shot from 50 yards."
Competitors shoot from 7, 15, 25, and 50 yards.
As soon as the Open Class Revolver 1500 concludes, it's on to the Distinguished Revolver Championship.
